Feb 8, 2010: i got up today around 9:30 and didn’t get to do much. this is our traveling day. the bus to the airport left around 11:30 and the plane left at around 3:00pm. i am on the plane at the moment (i imagine we’re probably around half way to Toronto by now). this particular plane is an Airbus A310-300. normally i have a problem with Airbus planes although this one is fine. my issue with them is cabin pressure. Airbus jets tend to give me a headache. i much prefer Boeing. all i can see outside is clouds. the horizon is almost indistinguishable. we just finished watching “The Invention of Lying”. it was pretty good. it definitely helped to pass the time. for anyone wondering, it takes at least 4 hours to fly between Manzanillo and Toronto. current speed (ground speed) is Mach 0.80 (850 km/h or 528 mph). anyway, i should get to work on my art... talk to you later... ;)

wow... this one is quite late... i meant to get it posted by Feb 9th... oh well... better late than never, right?

ok today was a pretty down day too. not much to tell... i basically avoided the sun and worked on a drawing all day. not looking forward to going home tomorrow **sighs** :( 

 Feb 5, 2010: today we went to the “real” Mexico... it’s a very poor place, but one with great values. animals run free and it’s not a problem. dogs and roosters are everywhere. people tend to care more about other people and coexist with animals instead of trying to modify them to fit their lives. i would love to live in a place with those values. it’s too bad that money corrupts even the best people...

 Feb 4, 2010: today was a much nicer day. it is hot (28C feels like 34C) and sunny. we took the Jeep to go see the sea turtles and i held 2 of them. one was only 2 days old and smaller than a pack of smokes... very cool :) we were able to put the top down and take the windows off the Jeep and that was really cool. i’m doing this post earlier than i usually do but i will have more to tell later... time to go get drunk :P 

 Feb 3, 2010: well... it rained all day so our drive was not ideal. the Jeep is a piece of shit and easily the worst rental vehicle i have ever had (and for those who don’t know, we have rented many vehicles). the engine hesitates, the transmission is very worn, the suspension sucks ass... need i go on? anyway, we made it to Colima and saw some ruins there and it was pretty cool :)

 Feb 2, 2010: today was a day to relax and set in. we drank beer all day and had a few shots here and there and as it turns out, Spanish is a lot easier after you’ve had a few drinks lol. we met some people, all from Canada, and we hung out with them most of the day. not much else to say here. tomorrow we are renting a Jeep at 9am and it should be a nice drive :)

 Feb 1st, 2010: today was a long day. we left the hotel at 3:40 am and departed Toronto around 7:15. we arrived in Manzanillo around 3pm Central time (4 Eastern time). i got pretty drunk and headed back to the room around 7 pm (Central time) this place is absolutely beautiful. i am a bit drunk and having trouble typing so think i will head to bed soon... overall a great day. the plane didn’t even cause me a headache and i was able to work on my furry drawing on the plane. the Mexican military was at the airport and they had some very cool aircraft there... talk to you tomorrow :)

 i am on the phone with my friend and his mom right now. i feel really sorry for both of them. Tanner (the friend) has lost both of his grandparents within a month or two :(. the first one was a natural death but the second one was a suicide :(. i feel really bad for both of them. i can't even imagine how hard it must be to deal with. my sympathies are with them...

since joining EP a few weeks ago, i have made many friends, some of them different from me, some not, but every single one of them has at least one thing in common with the other. the thing that i am referring to is, of course, that they are true friends. the kind that you wish you had around you in person all the time. i can tell them anything and they are so compassionate and understanding and caring. i have told most of my deepest, darkest secrets to at least 2 of them and they are still there, just as they always were. it is through this site that i have discovered who i am and have taken off the mask that we all wear whenever we step outside the bedroom. i want to thank everybody who has ever listened to me and/or encouraged me to do things that i could never have done without them. i am so thankful to have these friends. the only thing i would change about them is that i would like if they lived close enough to know them outside of EP, email, or chat programs. i know that it is not going to happen tho and im fine with that. i just need to thank everybody for showing me who i really am because i am a much happier person now :) always here to talk, understand, confide in, and console,
